The recommended daily amount (RDA) for protein is 0.8 grams per kilogram of weight (i.e. 0.8 * weight). However, active females may see small benefits from eating 1.2 to 1.6 grams of protein for every kilogram they weigh (i.e. 1.2 * weight to 1.6 * weight). Anything above 1.6 grams per kilogram is unlikely to have any further benefit.
