Welcome

About me

I’m a nutrition scientist with a BSc(Hons), MSc, and Ph.D., and I’ve spent over 15 years leading research on female health and well-being, with more than 50 peer-reviewed papers published in international scientific journals.

Alzheimer’s has touched my family, and I’ve seen firsthand the devastating impact it has—not just on those diagnosed but also on their loved ones. Now in my 40s, I understand how perimenopause profoundly affects brain health, and I know this is the time to take action. With no cure for Alzheimer’s, prevention or delaying onset is key*.

That’s why I’ve combined my expertise and personal experience to create a course specifically for women in their 40s. It’s designed to help navigate the hormonal changes that can affect cognitive function and increase Alzheimer’s risk—giving you science-backed strategies to protect and support your brain.

I founded Fred Nutrition to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and real-life application, empowering women with the knowledge they need to take charge of their brain health during perimenopause and beyond.

Because when it comes to protecting your mind, the right nutrition and lifestyle choices can make all the difference.

*Some have a greater genetic risk for Alzheimer’s and unfortunately lifestyle changes can only go so far
